Gregor SamsaRestThe Kora RecordsApril 24, 2008While swimming through this music, you will find, for sure, some beautiful symphonic orchestrations, a lot of nostalgic guitars and many distant noises made by thousands of soft keyboards and dreamy voices whispering oceanic lullabies in your ears (because, without any advice, by the end of the first song you will be at the bottom of the sea). All of the sudden you will find yourself in the middle of a silent journey through the deepest currents of the Atlantic, where purple tides and hidden life forms will shape dreams of sound and colors wherever you go. You’ll ask yourself for the nature of this music. What is it made of? Why is it this silent, this quiet, this dreamy? You may have no answer, but you will know for sure that your mind was, all along, filled with unpredictable streams of sound and subtle music. And then you’ll realize, in awe, that it just takes a post-rock album to show you the liquid side of your memories. You better swim, then. - Mono Highlights / The Adolescent
