Oracular Spectacular
Oracular Spectacular is the debut album of electronic-rock duo, MGMT (“Management”). Upon first listen, I was impressed. It is impossible not to dance to at least one song on this album. (Just listen to “Electric Feel”) This album offers a lot of variation, but most importantly, it is consistent. “Kids” and “Weekend Wars” are fantastic tracks. Vocally, MGMT is similar in style to Of Montreal so it is not surprising that they have toured together in the past. Overall, Oracular Spectacular is a great record and one of the best debut albums I’ve heard in a while. -Tinasucks
